Forget about B&B Stereotypes, this is about to reset any expectations you may ever have.

I'm sitting at what is probably the best 'office' desk in the word right now...

This is the view from the guest balcony of the B&B I'm staying at on the outskirts of Weggis in Switzerland.

I've been exceptionally fortunate to be given the best room by my hosts Susan & Daniel so I benefit from the same view. There is also the most enormous bath tub if you can call a 2.5m wide wooden barrel a bath tub!

It doesn't matter what time of day or night you look at the view it is just stunning...

The lake in the picture is Lake Lucerne (Lac Luzern if your Swiss) and I'm a less than an hour by ferry from Lucerne town which has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

This really is a magical place to stay. As I write this I've been watching an eagle flying around at eye level whilst he's on the lookout for dinner.

Susan is a brilliant cook and has prepared a series of wonderful breakfasts and mouth watering evening meal too.

Daniel & Susan designed the house and it shows in the wonderful little details.

If you're ever thinking of stopping off or having a holiday in Switzerland, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Alan
