Happy Birthday Sarah

Somehow the idea of celebrating Sarah's birthday without her never entered my mind, but never the less that's what Sarah's family and I are doing today.

This is another hard post to write, but to celebrate Sarah's birthday I thought I'd share a couple of the very small number of photos I've found of Sarah. I've laughed whilst looking for Photo's of Sarah (if you don't believe me wait till the last photo...).

Sarah was one of the warmest, most loving and caring people you could ever have wanted to know and never more so when in the company of her family (Heather and Rosie, I hope you know just how immensely proud she was of you ladies!!) or cats.

To celebrate Sarah's birthday last year we went out for lunch with Sarah's family at Summer Lodge, which is where Sarah had her last real meal. I didn't take any photos, as after 18 years together I know how how much she loathed being photographed, but boy do I wish I'd incurred Sarah's wrath and just taken some!!

I only found this photo recently when looking for something on Sarah's pen drive. I think you can clearly feel the withering distain being directed at the poor person taking the photo.

Having been the victim of 'the look' before, this photo made me laugh (a rare thing in the last nine months) and although Sarah would have killed me for posting this photo, I still wanted to share it as the people that know and love Sarah will know that you had to work hard to get that stare. Don't say I didn't warn you!!

I love you Sarah and I always will do.
